Tender for Cable construction works

Properly sealed tender (Packing PVC tape/Sealing wax) are invited for and on behalf of CMD, BSNL by the GMTD, Gaya from the experienced & eligible contractors for under ground cable construction work and it’s associated works.

1.  Name of work :- Underground Cable construction works with all other associated works such as  

                                  jointing of cable, termination, opening of DPs & testing of cable pairs from DP to

                                     pillar and pillar to MDF as the case be.

2. Eligible contractors: The contractors enlisted in BSNL or, registered in any of the central govt.            department/state govt./any of the PSU for carrying out laying of U/G telecom cable or OF Cable work as well as registered in central labour commissioner or labour department of Bihar state govt. having valid EPF registration and labour license to carry out under ground cable construction work with an experience as mentioned below in the last three financial year i.e. 2006-07, 2005-06, & 2004-05 in BSNL/any central govt. department/state govt./any of the PSUs.

Two eligible bidders shall be awarded the works for each of the tender as per BSNL rules.

Mode of payment

Tender document could be purchased by payment Rs.561/- as a cost of bid document in form of the crossed D/D drawn in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash) BSNL, o/o the GM TD Gaya payable at Gaya or by paying cash to Accounts Officer (Cash) BSNL, o/o the GM TD Gaya. Bid security is to be paid in the form of crossed Demand Draft issued by any nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash) BSNL, o/o the GM TD Gaya at Gaya.

Method to obtain the Tender document

 

For purchasing the tender, following documents along with application on company letter head are required to be submitted to SDE (Plg) between 19.12.2007 to 10.01.2008. After scrutiny of the documents, tender document will be issued to the applicant after a gap of two days. Cost of tender document has to be deposited after getting clearance from SDE (Plg) regarding fulfilling the eligibility criteria for participating in the tender.

 

 

 

 

 

Following documents are to be submitted:

1.      Experience certificate (issued by an officer not below the rank of JAG)

2.      EPF registration certificate

3.      Labour license from Govt. of BIHAR state.

4.      Enlistment certificate from BSNL (optional)

5.      Registration for carrying out the work of UG Cable laying

6.      Solvency certificate issued after the date of NIT

7.      PAN and latest IT return

 

The tender, which is not accompanied by the requisite Bid Security (or cost of tender document for those obtained by downloading), shall be summarily rejected. Tender will not be accepted/received after expiry date and time. The GMTD, Gaya reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason what-so-ever.

 

                    The Envelope containing the bid must superscribed as “Tender no. GTD/Plg/Tender/UGC/07-08/….please notes that bids will be submitted ONLY BY HAND OR REGISTERED POST OR SPEED POST. Bids sent through courier or submitted by any other means shall not be accepted. Bids received after the above specified time & date shall not be accepted. Any delay, damage or loss occurred due to Post shall not be the responsibility of BSNL and no Claim on this accounts shall be entertained.

           

Tender document can also be downloaded from the site w.w.w.bihar.bsnl.co.in  While submitting the downloaded tender document cost of tender document has to be paid in the form of DD issued by any of the nationalized bank payable at Gaya with the Technical Bid. Downloaded any variation in downloaded tender document will result to blacklisting of the bidder.
