Notice Inviting Tender

NIT No. W – 7/Tender/UG Cable/Barachakiya/2007 - 08 Date of issue 22/01/2008

Wax sealed tenders are invited for and on behalf of CMD, BSNL by the Motihari from the eligible enlisted contractors/approved contractors for UG cable work in Motihari SSA on SDCA basis for the following works:

1. Name of work Underground cable construction.

2. Area of contract & Work:-

2.	Period of contract	One year from the date of agreement (Until otherwise specified) or completion of work put together, whichever is earlier.
3.	Mode of payment	The tender document can be obtained after downloading the same from website. In this case the cost of tender document of Rs. 1000/- may be paid in the form of Bank Draft in favour of AO(Cash), O/o TDM, Motihari. which can be attached with tender document while submitting the same. Bid Security is to be paid in the form of Crossed Demand Draft only issued by a scheduled Bank, drawn in favour of Accounts Officer(Cash), O/o TDM, Motihari., payable at Motihari,
4.	Tender document containing detailed description of work& Terms & Conditions can be had from website.	On website www.bihar.bsnl.co.in
5.	Downloading of tender documents	Upto 13/02/08
6.	Time and last date of submission of Bid upto 1400Hrs. on 14-02-2008 to the Divisional Engineer(A/P), O/o TDM, Motihari. It can also be sent by Registered post/ Courier.
7.	Time of Bid opening at15.00 Hrs on 14-02-2008
8.	Conditions in case of approved contractor for UG cable work in Motihari SSA in previous years. (a) Experience Certificate issued by Govt./BSNL of RS, 200000 during the last three years (b) Valid registration Certificate, (c) In case of partnership firm, registration and authenticated copy of partnership deed , and affidavit in case of proprietorship firms. (d) EPF Registration, (e) Income Tax clearance. All paper should be self attested.

The tender, which is not accompanied by the requisite Bid Security, shall be summarily rejected. Tender will not be accepted/received after expiry date and time. The TDM, Motihari reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason what-so-ever. The BSNL will not be responsible for postal delay.
