Customers who Do Not want to receive any unsolicited commercial communication may request for registering their telephone nos. in Do Not Call register.

The Different methods throgh which a willing customer may avail this service is as mentioned below..

I. For BSNL Mobile(Pre Paid/Post Paid) customers :

Cell One (Pre Paid/Post Paid) customers can SMS their request to activate or deactivate DNC registry by sending SMS message as:

DNC ACT or DNC DEACT respectively.

The SMS is to be sent to 53733

II. For Land Line Customers:

a. Do Not Call request acceptance by dialing No. 1500.
The Call Center for Bihar Telecom Circle is available on 1500.
The customer will call 1500 from the telephone which he/she wants to be included or excluded in DNC registry.

The staff sitting at 1500 position will attend such call and will take some additional information like customer ID, Name, Address etc. and pass this information on daily basis to designated Nodal Officer for entry in DNC Register.

b. Do Not Call request acceptance through Customer Care Portal.

The customer also has the option of directly feeding his request in the customer care portal http://portal.bsnl.in/bsnlcca/dnc/dnclogin.aspx.
